WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT

We are hosting a mental health awareness and suicide prevention concert event featuring Alex Boyé. We know that music has the power to bring people together and open their hearts in a way that lessons and lectures cannot. Through music, guest speakers and community resources, we intend to bring hope and support to all in attendance.

Doors & resource booths open at 5:30 PM

On-stage event begins at 6:30 PM

Alex Boyé is truly a multicultural, multigenerational, global artist – with over one billion views on his YouTube channel, Boyé’s diverse blend of African-infused pop music and vibrant dynamic visuals have captured a loyal legion of fans across the globe. 

​

Three years ago, Boyé wrote a song called “Bend Not Break”, which quickly became an anthem of hope and healing to those struggling with mental health and suicide ideation. Boyé is a global ambassador for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.

Megan McCaleb is an award-winning comedian, an award-winning author, and an engaging improv coach. She teaches improv skills that are simple, fun, and actionable tools to create more self-awareness, increase self-control and self-love, and expand a person's capacity to embrace what makes them unique and powerful individuals - particularly when the going gets tough.

Megan is passionate about creating happier, healthier human connections through humor. She has been the recipient of such honors as Idaho Business Review's "Accomplished Under 40" and "Women of the Year." McCaleb is an upbeat and empowering, although tired, single mother of four and a Jeep enthusiast.

Jason Coombs, founder, and CEO of Brick House Recovery, and author of the best-selling book “Unhooked – How To Help An Addicted Loved One Recover” has been nominated for the 2021 Inspire Excellence Award.

 

Jason has effectively guided thousands of addicted individuals and their families out of the chaos and into recovery. He is in long-term recovery himself and so he’s been there. Jason is a professional TEDx speaker, consultant, and leadership expert.
